The Friends of Hart Primary School

Mission Statement:

The Friends of Hart are committed to raising money for your children at Hart Primary School.

We aim to enhance the learning experience of your children, by providing the “little extras” which would otherwise be unavailable.

We rely on the generosity of friends and families to keep costs to a minimum.

We aim to provide a selection of fundraising events across the year, which will encourage children, their family and friends to spend more time with one another.

We are committed to offering fun events with something for everyone.

The Friends of Hart Primary School was established in 2003.  Friends of Hart Primary school are a group of parents and family members who are actively raising funds for the children in school.  We support the school by raising money for the “little extras” which enhance our children’s learning experience at school. 

To carry on the excellent work that Friends of Hart do we need your help!  Are you able to volunteer some of your valuable time to assist in the organising and staffing of events?  If so, we would welcome anyone wishing to join.

During the academic year 08/09 we have hosted several successful events including Bingo evenings, Pamper nights, cake stalls and Easter Egg hunts.  The children recently participated in a sponsored walk.  Due to the generosity of our supporters we have raised over £1000 this year and are hopeful the figure will rise as we eagerly await sponsorship money from our recent walk.  We hope to raise even more funds in 09/10 and hope to see you at our meetings and events.
